Eeze has appointed Lai Fatt Chiang as its new CEO, promoting him from his previous role as COO.
Chiang joined Eeze just under two years ago and has been closely involved in the company’s recent operational development. During his tenure as COO, Eeze expanded into new markets, increased its portfolio of proprietary games, scaled its green screen table offering and nearly doubled its workforce.
The leadership transition formalises Chiang’s role in guiding the business through its next phase of growth.
In comments following his appointment, Chiang acknowledged recent challenges faced by the company and positioned 2026 as a pivotal year. He emphasised a focus on collective effort as Eeze works to stabilise operations and build longer-term foundations for growth.
Chiang brings more than two decades of gaming industry experience, primarily across Asia-Pacific markets. Prior to joining Eeze, he held senior commercial and management roles at IGT, Spielo, Atronic International and RGB International.
His background includes leading market entry strategies, deploying casino management systems across multiple jurisdictions and building regional sales and technical support teams from the ground up. Several of these roles involved expanding into newly regulated or non-traditional markets.
Commenting on his appointment to the new position at Eeze, Chiang stated: “I’m deeply grateful to the Board of Eeze for the trust and confidence in appointing me to continue leading the company as CEO.
“It’s an honor to take on this responsibility, and I do so with a strong sense of purpose and commitment. The past few years have tested us. 2024 and 2025 were challenging, and 2026 will be another defining year. But I firmly believe that with discipline, focus and strong execution, we can turn this period into a foundation for better days ahead.
“The year ahead will demand resilience, unity and collective effort. I’m confident that by working together with my fellow teammates, we can transform today’s challenges into tomorrow’s pride and long-term success.”
Eeze noted that Chiang will be representing the company at ICE Barcelona later this month, where the supplier is expected to outline its product roadmap and partnership strategy for the year ahead.
The appointment adds to a string of recent senior-level moves across the gaming technology sector, including ClearStake's advisory appointment of Luke Cousins earlier today, and Beter's hiring of Matias Tapia Gomez as Latin America Business Development Manager.
Before joining Eeze, Chiang led multiple Asia-Pacific market expansions for major suppliers, including IGT and Atronic, with a focus on casino management systems and emerging jurisdictions
