Yolo Group has announced that two of its subsidiaries, Hub88 Holdings and Live Online Gaming Services (which operates Live88 and OneTouch) have been granted gaming-related vendor licences from the United Arab Emirates' General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA).
The licences allow the subsidiaries to provide B2B iGaming content in the UAE's newly regulated market. Live88 has also become the first online live casino studio to be licensed in the country.
The UAE is currently the only regulated jurisdiction within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, positioning it as a strategic entry point for operators and suppliers.
Commenting on the development, Tim Heath, Founder of Yolo Group, stated: "Obtaining these licenses in the UAE is more than a regulatory achievement, it is a statement of intent.
"Yolo Group is committed to building the future of gaming on trust, transparency, and world-class innovation. The UAE is setting the stage for what modern, regulated gaming should look like, and we are proud to be part of that journey."
Yolo Group joins an expanding roster of gaming suppliers operating under GCGRA oversight. Aristocrat was the first supplier to receive licensing in October 2024, followed by other operators including Novomatic, IGT, Scientific Games, Light & Wonder and Pollard Banknote.
For Yolo Group, the UAE licensing comes amid a period of organisational restructuring. In July, the company appointed Lara Falzon as CEO of its B2B business units, including Hub88, Live88 Odds88 and OneTouch.
That same month, Stephanie Eddy also joined as Chief Revenue Officer of Yolo Entertainment, the group's B2C division, following a decade-long tenure at Betway.
The UAE development comes as Yolo Group is investing in technology-driven solutions - including a one-wallet system for integrated online and land-based play - and has already introduced MiCA-compliant cryptocurrency payments at its Bombay Club casino in Tallinn, Estonia
