Betnacional has become the main sponsor of Cruzeiro’s women’s football team for the 2026 season
The deal extends an existing partnership that already covers the club’s men’s team

Cruzeiro has expanded its commercial partnership with Betnacional, confirming the operator as the main shirt sponsor of its women’s football team for the 2026 season.

The agreement marks a direct extension of the existing deal between the two parties, which already covers Cruzeiro’s men’s team.

With the new arrangement, Betnacional will now appear on the front of the match shirts worn by both Cruzeiro teams.

The move reflects a commercial push by companies to deepen their exposure beyond men’s competitions and align with the growing visibility of women’s football in Brazil.

Betnacional spokesperson Jorge Peixoto said the expansion of the partnership highlights the brand’s increasing connection with the women’s game.

He pointed to the steady growth of women’s football in Brazil and referenced the team’s recent on-field success as a key factor behind the deal.

“The recent positive campaign in the Brazilian Women’s Cup and the consolidation of state dominance show the strength of the team and the project built by Cruzeiro,” he said.

“Investing in women’s football is investing in the future of the sport, especially in a cycle marked by the Olympic silver medal and preparations for the 2027 Women’s World Cup, which will be hosted in Brazil.”

For Cruzeiro, the deal provides additional financial backing as the club looks to build on its recent domestic success and establish itself more firmly in South America in 2026.

Betnacional has also backed social initiatives in Brazil, including funding care for rescued cats through an animal welfare project.

“We are certain that Cruzeiro and Betnacional will make history together in 2026,” concluded Peixoto.
