Lotto.com has reported reaching 4 million customers and more than $150m in cumulative player winnings less than five years after launching its online lottery courier platform in the United States.
The Jersey City-based company, which facilitates the digital purchase and delivery of official lottery draw tickets and scratch tickets, said customers using its service have collectively recorded approximately $90m in draw-game winnings and $63m from scratch tickets.
According to the company, more than 7 million winning tickets have been ordered through the platform since its launch in spring 2021.
Lotto.com CEO, Thomas Metzger, said: “Reaching 4 million customers and seeing over $150 million in winnings go back into the hands of our players is an incredible achievement for our team.”
Metzger added: “We remain committed to driving growth that generates incremental returns to good causes in the states we operate in.”
Beyond player winnings, Lotto.com stated that its operations have contributed around $185m to state lottery beneficiaries. In the US, lottery proceeds are typically allocated to public programs such as education, infrastructure, and community initiatives, with courier platforms required to operate within existing state lottery frameworks.
The company currently operates in 11 states, including Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Oregon. Expansion into additional jurisdictions remains subject to state-level regulatory approval, as lottery courier services continue to face differing legal treatment across the US.
Lotto.com’s growth comes as the wider lottery sector increasingly explores digital distribution channels, particularly as consumers shift toward mobile-first purchasing habits.
While courier platforms do not operate lotteries themselves, they have become a growing part of the ecosystem by acting as intermediaries between consumers and licensed state lottery retailers.
In December 2025, Lotto.com joined the National Council on Problem Gambling’s “Too Young To Bet” Gift Responsibly Campaign, an initiative supported by the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries.
The campaign aims to raise awareness about the risks of youth exposure to gambling products, particularly during holiday periods.
Metzger said at the time: “The ‘Too Young To Bet’ message is one we stand firmly behind, as protecting youth and promoting responsible play are fundamental to everything we do.”
The campaign has seen record participation in recent years, with more than 175 lotteries and related organizations involved globally in 2024.
