Konami Gaming has appointed Deron Hunsberger as Vice President of North American Game Sales. Hunsberger has more than 25 years of experience in the gaming industry, with extensive experience in customer relations and business development.

Hunsberger’s appointment comes shortly after Konami Gaming promoted seven long-standing executives to vice president roles across its systems and operations divisions.

In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing land-based game sales across the United States and Canada, including the development and implementation of strategic sales initiatives. Hunsberger previously served as Director of Slot Sales at Konami Gaming from 2000 to 2006 and was one of the company’s earliest employees.

Konami has recently made waves in the slot market, with Pechanga Resort Casino becoming the first venue worldwide to launch its Red Fortune Rail series, while Graton Resort & Casino introduced the new Bomberman-themed slot machines.
