Pechanga Resort Casino hosted the world debut of Konami’s Red Fortune Rail slot series
The game combines train-style mechanics with Asia-inspired visuals and linked progressives
Red Fortune Rail also introduces Konami’s new Solstice slot cabinet to players

Pechanga Resort Casino has been selected as the global launch venue for Konami Gaming’s new Red Fortune Rail slot series, marking the first public appearance of the title on the Southern California resort’s gaming floor.

Red Fortune Rail builds on Konami’s established “train game” format, a genre the supplier popularised with its All Aboard franchise.

The new series combines the familiar locomotive-style mechanics with an Asia-inspired visual theme, incorporating elements such as cherry blossoms, gold ingots and animated bonus symbols.

Players can also access a nested hold-and-spin feature, progressive multipliers and a linked Grand jackpot, alongside the Golden Fortune Rail bonus round.

The launch was accompanied by an on-property promotional event, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony and guest activities tied to the train theme.

In addition to the new game content, Red Fortune Rail is among the first titles to be deployed on Konami’s Solstice slot cabinet. The hardware platform includes upgraded display technology, enhanced sound design and additional lighting and sensory effects aimed at improving floor presence and player engagement.

Commenting on the development, Alex Rodriguez, VP of Slot Operations for Pechanga Resort Casino, stated: “Our guests look to Pechanga Resort Casino to offer the hottest slots with the best pay outs, and Red Fortune Rail proves as exciting to play as they get. We’re honoured Konami selected Pechanga to debut this great new game.”

Tom Jingoli, President & COO at Konami Gaming, added: “The world premiere of Red Fortune Rail at one of America’s largest casino resorts is an exciting moment, especially considering the level of adventure these games provide players.

“The features, bonuses, prizes and handpays experienced by guests on Red Fortune Rail at Pechanga will soon expand to players across many diverse global gaming markets. This train game is going to celebrate numerous stops at world-class properties, beginning here first for players at Pechanga.”

The Red Fortune Rail premiere continues a period of expansion for Konami Gaming. In December 2025, Graton Resort & Casino debuted the first Bomberman-themed slot machines alongside the Solstice cabinet's initial launch.

The company has also announced multiple leadership promotions across its systems and operations divisions, and secured a partnership with Pennsylvania's Happy Valley Casino to provide its Synkros casino management system ahead of the venue's 2026 opening.
