Events run across multiple February dates as part of São Paulo’s Carnival

Online betting operator Betsul has announced a marketing partnership with São Paulo’s Northeastern Traditions Center (CTN) as part of the upcoming CTN Folia Carnival celebrations, which run throughout February.

The collaboration will see Betsul activate a series of on-site brand experiences aimed at engaging festival-goers during one of Brazil’s most prominent cultural periods.

Under the agreement, Betsul will host a dedicated VIP lounge at CTN Folia, alongside distributing personalised merchandise, including customised t-shirts, to registered platform users.

The operator is also organizing prize draws offering tickets to live music events held at the venue, featuring artists such as Joelma, Belo and Menos é Mais.

CTN Folia’s programme spans multiple dates, beginning on 7 February, and includes performances linked to popular Carnival street blocs, as well as shows by established Brazilian acts such as Terra Samba and Doce Encontro.

In addition to the main festivities, the venue will offer family-focused activities, including children’s Carnival workshops, dance sessions and supervised play areas.

Founded in 1991, CTN serves as the largest hub for Northeastern Brazilian culture outside the Northeast region, regularly hosting major cultural festivals such as São João and Carnival, attracting thousands of visitors.

Entry to CTN Folia is free, with the venue open from 11 AM to midnight on event days.

The partnership comes as Brazil's regulated betting market continues to mature following its first full year under formal oversight. Recent developments include the blocking of over 25,000 illegal betting sites and the implementation of stricter advertising controls, while regulatory debates continue at the state level, including recent discussions in Acre regarding fixed-odds betting restrictions.
