City Center Online has launched a new responsible gambling campaign featuring former Argentina internationals Maxi Rodríguez and Ángel Di María, two of the most prominent football figures to emerge from Rosario.
The initiative, titled “Decisiones” (“Decisions”), uses the careers and personal stories of both players to frame a broader message about accountability and informed choice.
The campaign highlights that individuals under the age of 18 are prohibited from betting and seeks to reinforce awareness around responsible gambling practices.
Rodríguez, associated with Newell’s Old Boys and known for spells at Atlético Madrid and Liverpool, and Di María, a Rosario Central product who played for Benfica, Real Madrid and Juventus, reflect on pivotal decisions in their careers.
According to the campaign’s concept, their experiences are used to underline that success is built on judgement and discipline rather than luck.
The messaging forms part of City Center Online’s Responsible Gambling Program, which operates under the regulatory framework established by Lotería Santa Fe.
The company positions the initiative as an educational effort rather than a promotional activation, aiming to encourage reflection on risk, limits and legal restrictions.
The campaign comes amid heightened scrutiny of gambling advertising standards in Argentina, including new federal guidelines on marketing practices and a reported rise in problem gambling helpline calls.
By aligning with responsible gambling principles and focusing explicitly on underage betting restrictions, the operator appears to be responding to a regulatory and social environment increasingly attentive to youth protection and advertising conduct.
The campaign is available through City Center Online’s official digital channels.
