Softswiss has become an official member of the National Association of Games and Lotteries (ANJL), marking the first time a technology provider has joined the Brazilian trade body.
ANJL represents licensed operators and strategic stakeholders in Brazil’s betting and lottery sector.
The association works alongside regulators and government bodies to support the development of a regulated, transparent and sustainable market, while also promoting compliance and responsible gambling standards.
Alongside the membership announcement, Carla Dualib, Business Development Manager for Brazil at Softswiss, has joined ANJL’s board as Communications Director. She will retain her existing role at the company.
In her new position, Dualib will focus on strengthening sector dialogue, increasing professional engagement and supporting transparent communication between operators and regulators.
"The Brazilian regulated market now enters a new phase, in which communication, collaboration and shared standards are more important than ever,” stated Dualib.
“ANJL plays an essential role in bringing together the sector and it is an honor to contribute to initiatives that promote responsible growth and a solid long-term regulatory environment."
Plínio Lemos Jorge, President of ANJL, added: "We are looking for this type of expertise to strengthen our communication and engagement with the sector.”
“Dualib brings credibility to the Brazilian market and deep knowledge of the industry. Her work is aligned with ANJL's mission to support a regulated, transparent and sustainable sector."
