The Conecta Cactus Institute, a Brazilian NGO, has launched a humanitarian relief effort following heavy rains that affected the cities of Juiz de Fora and Ubá in Minas Gerais.
The initiative includes the delivery of emergency supplies and is being supported by companies operating within the betting sector, including Ana Gaming and Cactus Gaming.
As part of the first stage of the operation, a truck carrying 1,000 food baskets has been dispatched to the affected region. A further shipment is expected to be sent before the end of March to reinforce support efforts.
In addition to food supplies, the initiative will also deliver approximately 9,000 liters of water to help address immediate needs in communities impacted by the severe weather.
Representatives from the institute were present during the departure of the first shipment, including Project Executive Director Alexandra Monteiro and Institutional Relations Director Danusa Ribeiro.
Alongside the distribution of essential supplies, the initiative also includes a donation campaign organized in partnership with Ana Gaming and Cactus Gaming, the group behind the Conecta Cactus Institute.
The campaign is collecting hygiene products, cleaning supplies, clothing and infant and adult diapers to support families affected by the flooding.
The donation drive is being coordinated from Belo Horizonte, where collection points have been set up to receive items from individuals and partner organizations.
Ana Gaming, one of the operators supporting the initiative, has previously drawn focus to internal innovation and team-driven projects within its organization, including initiatives designed to strengthen collaboration and strategic thinking across its teams.
Ana Gaming renewed its partnership with the Campeonato Paulista for the 2026 season, including the return of the 7k Trophy
