Fanduel customers can share $300,000 in Bonus Bets if Gronkowski lands a shot on the 17th green
Opt-in users must place a qualifying wager on designated 17th Hole markets
Additional incentives include profit boost tokens and a related sweepstakes tied to the attempt

Fanduel, an online gaming operator in North America, has announced a promotional activation tied to The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass involving former NFL player Rob Gronkowski.

The initiative centers on the tournament’s 17th hole, known for its island green. On Tuesday, Gronkowski will attempt to land a golf shot on the green during a filmed challenge linked to the sportsbook’s betting markets.

If successful, customers who opt in to the promotion and place a qualifying wager on designated 17th Hole markets will share $300,000 in Bonus Bets.

To participate, customers must opt in via the operator’s homepage and place an eligible wager before the attempt.

Fanduel confirmed that qualifying wagers must be placed prior to 7:00am ET on March 12, with restrictions excluding bets placed using bonus funds, site credit or existing bonus bets, as well as odds boosts, cashed-out bets or wagers outside the specified markets.

The operator has also outlined additional incentives tied to the promotion. Customers who claim a 50% profit boost token can use it on a qualifying wager to enter a sweepstakes linked to the same challenge. Prizes in that draw include $100 in Bonus Bets or a 25% profit boost token if the shot lands on the green.

Payouts from profit boost tokens will include both boosted winnings and the original stake, while the token itself will expire at 7:00am ET on March 12.

The activation forms part of Fanduel’s ongoing use of live sports events and personality-driven content to promote sportsbook engagement across regulated US jurisdictions.

Earlier this month, Flutter integrated PokerStars into the Fanduel Casino platform through a multi-state rollout covering Pennsylvania, Michigan and New Jersey, allowing pooled liquidity under the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement and shared wallet functionality across verticals.
