Following new operator partnerships, idPair has launched its National Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program across all 50 US states and Washington DC, representing the first time a self-exclusion program has been made available to the entire country with multiple entities participating.
Those using PrizePicks, Underdog Fantasy, Dabble and Splash Sports will have the ability to register for the National Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program and manage their play across all participating jurisdictions, platforms and products.
“For the college student in Nebraska who downloaded a fantasy sports app during the excitement of March basketball and got carried away, or for the parent in California trying to rebuild trust at home – this expansion means they don’t have to face things alone,” idPair CEO Jonathan Aiwazian said.
“By expanding this operator-led program to all 50 states, we’re making sure that when someone raises their hand and asks for help, safeguards show up for them everywhere.”
According to idPair, its National Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program also has the capability to include skill-based games, casino gaming and digital sports entertainment.
PrizePicks Senior Director of Responsible Gaming Phil Sherwood commented on the new expansion, having said, "We have always prioritized player well-being.
“By taking this program national, we are ensuring that our commitment to responsible gaming is as expansive as our footprint. We are proud to be a founding member of a movement that puts the person before the product."
Underdog VP of Responsible Gaming Adam Warrington recalled how idPair was the first company selected for its GuardDog innovation fund, believing the 50-state rollout is “proof of concept” and “further establishes that collaboration on safety and protection is critical.”
Individuals looking to register for the National Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program will also have the choice to exclude themselves from each of the program's participating operators and products across the US.
The Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission officially launched its National Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program for regulated gaming across the state on December 22, formed in partnership with idPair
