Betshield Responsible Gaming has announced a strategic partnership with Elizabeth Leiva Goycochea, CEO and founder of CGS Events, to support the company’s expansion across Latin America and the Caribbean.
The move follows two recent developments for the Brazilian responsible gaming technology provider: the formalization of a collaboration with CGS Events, which will place responsible gaming at the center of its industry conferences throughout the year, and the appointment of Amilton Noble as Advisory Partner.
Through the partnership, Goycochea will support Betshield’s expansion strategy in jurisdictions that are progressing with regulatory frameworks for online betting. The collaboration aims to introduce the company’s player protection technologies to additional regulated markets across the region.
Founded in Brazil, Betshield develops solutions based on artificial intelligence and behavioral analytics designed to monitor player activity, identify risk patterns and document preventative interventions undertaken by operators.
The company says these tools enable licensed operators to meet responsible gaming requirements while maintaining structured evidence of compliance measures.
The company has also developed Pausebet, a centralized self-exclusion infrastructure that regulated jurisdictions can adopt, allowing players to voluntarily block their access to licensed betting platforms as an additional protection mechanism.
Commenting on the partnership, Noble said: “Her experience and ability to engage with operators, regulators, and industry leaders will be fundamental in expanding the reach of Betshield's solutions and strengthening the Responsible Gaming agenda in new markets.”
Goycochea added: “The Caribbean and Latin America are experiencing an important moment of transformation in the betting sector. The technology developed by Betshield represents a concrete contribution to strengthening player protection and increasing confidence in the regulated environment.
It is an opportunity to support the industry's growth with responsibility and a long-term vision.”
