Initiative aligns with broader responsible gambling efforts in Brazil

Betsul has launched a financial education booklet guide aimed at promoting more sustainable betting habits, as operators in Brazil’s market continue to expand their focus on responsible gambling practices.

The material, authored by Betsul COO Andréia Oliveira, brings together practical financial management concepts designed to help users balance entertainment with personal budgeting.

Oliveira, who has over 20 years of experience in digital operations, currently leads initiatives related to operational efficiency, user experience and responsible gaming within the company.

Positioned as a behavioral support tool, the guide outlines key principles such as budget organization, impulse control and long-term financial planning.

Among the strategies presented is the “three pots” method, which encourages users to divide their income into essential expenses, leisure spending and savings, with betting activities falling strictly within pre-defined entertainment limits.

The publication also introduces a “21-day challenge” aimed at reinforcing spending discipline, alongside guidance on building emergency reserves to avoid financial exposure linked to betting activity.

These elements are framed as mechanisms to support a more controlled and informed approach to wagering.

The guide highlights the importance of setting clear financial and time-based limits, reinforcing that betting should remain a form of entertainment rather than a source of financial strain.

In a statement included in the guide, Oliveira wrote: "Managing your finances in adulthood is a way to choose your own pace, without depending on luck. It's what separates planned enjoyment from regret when you see the bank statement."
