Scientific Games has completed a full technology conversion for the North Dakota Lottery, implementing its latest central gaming system and iLottery solution to modernize both retail and digital lottery operations across the state.
The upgrade delivers an omnichannel platform through Scientific Games' Momentum integrated ecosystem, anchored by the AEGIS central gaming system and SG PAM player account management solution.
The technology supports the Lottery's retail network, which offers five multi-state games including Powerball, Mega Millions, Lucky for Life, Lotto America and 2by2, alongside its digital Players Club loyalty program.
The Players Club, accessible via web and mobile app, enables customers to purchase tickets online, enter tickets to earn points and redeem rewards.
Retailers will benefit from PlayCentral Flex self-service terminals and the Gem Suite retail management system, with performance analytics provided by Scientific Games' iNFUSE business intelligence platform.
Commenting on the upgrade, Thomas Lawler, Director of the North Dakota Lottery, stated: "We are committed to making the North Dakota Lottery relevant for generations to come and by doing so we achieve our mission to benefit programs meant to improve the quality of life in our state.
"This omnichannel technology upgrade with our longtime partner Scientific Games is an important step in achieving that goal, so we can continue to bring modern, engaging experiences to our players and provide support to retailers that sell our games."
Michael Cardell, SVP of Americas Systems, added: "We commend the North Dakota Lottery on its forward-thinking, omnichannel vision and decision to power that strategy with Scientific Games' advanced technology.
"We look forward to building on our long-standing partnership to drive continuous innovation and success for the citizens of North Dakota."
The conversion marks the third time the North Dakota Lottery has selected Scientific Games as its systems provider since launching Powerball sales in 2004.
The North Dakota project follows Scientific Games' recent completion of a nationwide systems upgrade for Lotto New Zealand earlier this month, which saw the supplier install its Momentum ecosystem across more than 1,100 retail outlets.
Scientific Games has completed over 50 systems implementations and conversions since 2016, including 12 transitions from legacy suppliers
