Superbet has entered into a partnership with Legitimuz to enhance identity verification and fraud prevention processes in Brazil, as operators continue to adapt to stricter regulatory and compliance requirements.
The agreement will see Legitimuz deploy its full suite of KYC (Know Your Customer) and anti-fraud solutions across Superbet’s platform.
These include document verification tools, biometric facial recognition and anti-money laundering monitoring systems, designed to validate users quickly while maintaining security standards.
The integration comes at a time when licensed operators in Brazil are under increasing pressure to demonstrate robust compliance frameworks, particularly around user identification, responsible gaming and financial transparency.
Efficient onboarding has become a key differentiator, as companies seek to minimise friction without exposing platforms to fraud risk.
Superbet, which operates in the Brazilian market under regulatory oversight, stated that the partnership is aligned with its broader compliance and user protection strategy.
“As a fully regulated company, our partnership with Legitimuz represents another important step in strengthening our commitment to the highest standards of compliance, data integrity and responsible gaming, while also contributing to building a safer and more sustainable iGaming ecosystem in Brazil,” said Mark Flood, Country Manager at Superbet Brazil.
From a technical perspective, the system is designed to function across a wide range of devices and connectivity conditions, reflecting the diversity of Brazil’s mobile-first user base.
The onboarding process incorporates automated document capture and biometric checks, enabling account verification within seconds in most cases.
As enforcement tightens and scrutiny increases, identity verification and fraud prevention are expected to remain central to long-term market sustainability.
