PokerStars exclusively on FanDuel has gone live and will be available across Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Following the news of an absorption last month by its fellow Flutter Entertainment-owned brand, PokerStars will operate through FanDuel, with bigger player pools and bigger prizes.

The launch will merge player liquidity across markets, forming one of the largest online poker networks in North America. Players will be able to participate in the previously announced two $500,000 guaranteed Sunday Million tournaments.

"By combining PokerStars' industry-leading poker experience with FanDuel's scale and reach, we're able to deliver bigger games, larger prize pools and a more dynamic experience. We look forward to welcoming players to the tables," said Aaron Dugan, General Manager of PokerStars at FanDuel.

Ushering in a new era for online gaming in north America, Fans of PokerStars had strong opinions.

Numerous comments left on a Reddit thread expressed some differing opinions on the news, with some seeing it as potentially losing its identity as a brand.

PokerStars online legacy sites went offline a few hours before the launch and it said: “Thank you to all our players for every hand dealt over the past ten years, and we’ll see you tomorrow, April 1st, 2026, 8:00AM EST.”
