Instituto Conecta Cactus, the social arm of Cactus Gaming, which operates brands such as Ana Gaming and 7k.bet.br, has announced its support for a new initiative aimed at expanding access to early autism diagnosis in Brazil.
The project, titled “Ways to Care,” is being carried out in partnership with the Association of Friends of Autistic People (APAA) in the municipality of Pompéu, Minas Gerais.
It is designed to provide low-cost diagnostic services and specialized guidance to children aged between 3 and 12 from families earning up to two minimum wages.
The initiative focuses on early identification of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), offering multidisciplinary assessments conducted through a partner clinic. Up to 12 children per month are expected to receive evaluations as part of the program.
In addition to diagnosis, the project provides technical and social guidance to families, ensuring they receive valid medical reports and information on how to access treatment, public support and educational inclusion.
The program also aims to support long-term outcomes by connecting families with local services and resources.
According to the institute, early diagnosis plays a key role in improving development opportunities and social inclusion for children on the autism spectrum.
The initiative also seeks to strengthen coordination between healthcare providers, families and local organizations to maintain continuity of care.
“We know that early diagnosis is a crucial step in expanding opportunities for development, autonomy, and inclusion for children on the autism spectrum,” state the company.
“Therefore, supporting initiatives like this is also a reaffirmation of our commitment to a more just and inclusive society with greater access to information, care and opportunities for all.”
In recent months, the institute also has supported an initiative to help the state with natural disaster relief.
