The Brazilian Association for Compliance, Best Practices, Ethics and Transparency in Betting (ABC-Bet), has launched ExecBet, a new executive training program aimed at professionals operating in Brazil’s regulated betting market.
Announced by Udo Seckelmann, who is among the instructors, ExecBet is positioned as an intensive training initiative designed for senior professionals across compliance, legal, risk, operations and marketing functions.
According to program materials, the course offers 25 hours of live, online instruction, combining technical knowledge with practical application. It is structured around real-world operational challenges, with a focus on translating regulatory complexity into strategic and operational advantages for licensed operators.
The target audience includes compliance officers, legal teams, payment and KYC specialists, as well as marketing executives, affiliates and stakeholders connected to the betting ecosystem.
The initiative reflects growing demand for specialized training as Brazil’s regulatory framework continues to evolve and operators adapt to stricter compliance requirements.
The curriculum covers key areas such as regulatory frameworks, responsible gambling, crisis management, integrity monitoring, anti-money laundering and betting-related marketing practices.
Modules also address emerging risks, including esports integrity and affiliate ecosystems, pointing to a more sophisticated and interconnected market landscape.
The program also emphasizes decision-making under regulatory constraints, governance structures and readiness for critical scenarios, rather than purely theoretical instruction.
ABC-BET has recently appointed Thiago Iusim, Betshield’s CEO, to its responsible gambling committee, reinforcing its focus on integrity and player protection within the country’s regulated environment.
ANJL and ABC-BET have warned that additional restrictions on licensed operators could unintentionally strengthen Brazil’s illegal betting market
