Instituto Conecta Cactus has announced that it has distributed more than 45,000 food baskets to families in vulnerable situations across Brazil since 2025, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing social support efforts.
Instituto Conecta Cactus operates as the social arm of Cactus Gaming, which is also linked to brands such as Ana Gaming and 7K. Its activities span multiple initiatives, including community aid, education and healthcare-related projects.
The initiative currently reaches communities in Belo Horizonte and Pompéu, both in Minas Gerais, as well as Conde, in Paraíba.
The monthly distributions are part of a wider program focused on food security, social assistance and direct community engagement.
Senior representatives from the institute, including Alexandra Monteiro, Executive Director of Projects, and Danusa Ribeiro, Director of Institutional Relations, were present during the preparation of the latest deliveries, reinforcing the organisation’s hands-on approach to its operations.
Beyond the distribution of essential goods, the program has recently been expanded to include additional items in the baskets, alongside a new benefits component.
This includes access to discounts across a range of services, such as pharmacies, clothing stores, cinemas, medical consultations and laboratory tests, aiming to extend support beyond immediate food assistance.
Another initiative from the program is aimed at expanding access to early autism diagnosis in Brazil, designed to provide low-cost diagnostic services and specialized guidance to children aged between 3 and 12 from families earning up to two minimum wages.
