Global lottery company Brightstar has released its financial and business results for the third quarter.
Overall revenue reached $629m in Q3, a 7% increase when compared to results posted in the previous corresponding period last year.
The company also reported $95m in income from its operations. Adjusted EBITDA reached $294m in the third quarter, up by 11% year-over-year. The company posted an adjusted EBITDA margin of 46.7% in Q3, also reflecting a year-over-year increase in. The adjusted EBITDA margin rose by 1.7 percentage points.
Brightstar Q3 results by region
Regarding US and Canada revenues, Brightstar recorded a Q3 2025 revenue figure of $304m, a positive uptick of 7% in comparison to results from the same period of the year prior.
Italy was also a key revenue driver during the year's third quarter, generating $257m of Brightstar's overall GGR figure, rising by 12% year-on-year. Elsewhere, revenue from the rest of the world dropped by 10% to $69m during 2025's third quarter.
Brightstar's year so far
In addition to its quarterly report, the company also posted year-to-date figures. For the fiscal year so far, Brightstar revenue has reached $1.84bn, subject to a slight year-on-year decline of 1%.
Income from operations has reached $43m for the past nine months, reflecting some losses from previous quarters.
The company posted an adjusted EBITDA for the first nine months of $818m, down 7.3% from the first nine months of 2024 while the adjusted EBITDA margin reached 44.4%.
Along with the financial report, Brightstar provided the following update to its investors: "For nearly 50 years, our innovative products and services have helped our customers to excel and distinguish their lotteries from other forms of discretionary consumer spending. Now, we're shaping the future of the global lottery business in partnership with our customers and for the entertainment of their players."
This latest update also falls closely behind Brightstar's newly announced five-year global licensing partnership with Avanti to develop humor-themed games.
