Amusnet has obtained a Gaming-Related Supplier–Manufacturer Registration from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), granting the supplier access to one of North America's most established regulated iGaming markets.
The licence permits Amusnet to offer its online gaming content to licensed operators in Ontario, officially establishing the company's presence in the region for the first time.
The supplier has indicated it will initially focus on its iGaming portfolio, with the possibility of expanding into land-based solutions at a later stage.
Ontario is widely regarded as a benchmark jurisdiction in North America, known for its structured regulatory framework and stringent requirements around technology, security and player protection. By meeting the AGCO's compliance standards, Amusnet joins a regulated market that has seen considerable growth since Ontario launched its open iGaming model in April 2022.
Commenting on the milestone, CEO Ivo Georgiev stated: “Securing the AGCO licence is an important milestone for Amusnet and reflects our long-term commitment to operating in fully regulated markets.
“Our entry into Ontario represents a key strategic step into North America, which is a high-priority region with strong long-term growth potential. We look forward to partnering with local operators and building a sustainable presence in the market”.
Amusnet has also indicated it is exploring further opportunities elsewhere in Canada.
The Ontario licence is the latest in a series of international moves for the supplier. Earlier this year, Amusnet went live with Hollywoodbets in South Africa, extending its footprint in the African market.
The development also follows a period of significant expansion more generally for the company, which celebrated its tenth anniversary last month – an occasion marked by an exclusive interview with Georgiev in which he outlined the supplier's priorities for 2026 and beyond.
