Alliance Global Group has reported record net income of PHP 30.6bn for 2025, up 10% from PHP 27.9bn a year earlier, with leisure and entertainment contributing to overall growth.
Travellers International Hotel Group, owner and operator of Newport World Resorts, delivered net revenues of PHP 31.9bn in 2025, a 2% increase from PHP 31.3bn in the prior year. The improvement was driven by a 4% rise in net gaming revenue to PHP 24.2bn, which offset a 4% decline in hotel and other revenue to PHP 7.6bn following a high base in 2024.
EBITDA at Newport increased 7% to PHP 9bn, supported by cost management initiatives. Attributable profit climbed 21% to PHP 1.5bn, aided by lower financial charges and operational efficiencies.
Located in Newport City, Pasay, Newport World Resorts remains one of the Philippines’ pioneering integrated resorts. The complex features gaming facilities alongside hospitality, retail and entertainment offerings, including Newport Mall, the 1,710-seat Newport Performing Arts Theater and multiple international hotel brands such as Marriott Hotel Manila, Hilton Manila, Sheraton Manila Hotel, Hotel Okura Manila and Holiday Inn Express Manila Newport City.
Earlier in April, PhilWeb Corp. entered into an agreement with Travellers International to provide online gaming platform support for Newport’s Gaming System Administrator platform, NWRPlay. The partnership covers platform technology, system support, gaming content integration and marketing services, subject to regulatory approvals.
The move marks Newport’s push into regulated online gaming as part of its broader strategy to strengthen its digital presence while maintaining growth in its integrated resort operations.
