Travellers International Hotel Group, operator of Manila's Newport World Resorts (NWR), recorded a 7% quarter-on-quarter increase in gross gaming revenue (GGR) in Q3 2025, reaching around PHP 8.1bn ($137m).
The figure brings total GGR for the first nine months of 2025 to PHP 23.5bn, a 31% year-on-year increase.
The company attributed the improvement to stronger hold rates and consistent mass-market gaming volumes, supported by increased foot traffic at NWR.
Total gross revenue for the nine-month period climbed 30% to PHP 28.6bn, while non-gaming revenue from hotel, dining, and retail operations contributed PHP 5.1bn.
Attributable net income rose 31% to PHP 651m ($11m), reflecting continued cost control and improved operating margins. Despite higher expenses linked to hospitality expansion, efficiency measures across the group offset the impact of inflationary pressures.
Parent company Alliance Global Group Inc. (AGI) reported consolidated revenue of $2.43bn through September, representing a 24% increase. Net income also grew 24% to PHP 24.8bn, while attributable profit surged 34% to PHP 17.4bn, aided by a PHP 3.4bn one-time gain from the deconsolidation of its McDonald's franchise unit, Golden Arches Development Corp (GADC), in which it retains a 49% stake.
AGI's diversified operations across real estate, spirits manufacturing, and infrastructure all contributed to growth.
Emperador benefited from rising international demand for spirits, while Megaworld Corp posted sequential improvements in office and mall leasing.
Kevin L. Tan, AGI's CEO, said the company's performance reflected the strength of a balanced business portfolio, adding that cost management and sustained consumer demand positioned the group for steady growth through 2026.
In November 2025, Bally's Corporation reported a 5.4% increase in Q3 2025 revenue to $663.7m, highlighting a broader rebound in the regional gaming and entertainment sector.
