Fanatics sportsbook has unveiled a new advertising series featuring three-time Grammy Award-winner Megan Thee Stallion, set to include two television and social media spots distributed throughout the 2025-2026 NBA season.
As part of the first television and social media advertisement, Stallion commands a 25-piece orchestra to display how Fanatics' FanCash rewards program differentiates itself from fellow sportsbooks and provides an enhanced experience for users.
Stallion explains how FanCash can be earned whether a user successfully cashes a wager or not, and is eligible to be used for items such as NBA merchandise, tickets and collectibles, as well as bonus bets.
"Megan Thee Stallion embodies the heartbeat of fandom where music, fashion and sport collide and brings an energy that turns basketball season into a full-blown cultural moment. She's the perfect partner to show how Fanatics Sportsbook makes winning hit different," Fanatics Betting and Gaming CMO Selena Kalvaria said.
In the second advertisement, currently projected to release in late November 2025, Stallion showcases Fanatics' recent decision to extend its Fair Play injury protection through the first half of every NBA regular season game for the 2025-2026 season.
The Fair Play injury protection has also covered potential losses for bettors in the NFL, as wide receiver Emeka Egbuka injured his hamstring playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on October 12, triggering a $1.5m payout from Fanatics sportsbook.
The Explained by Megan Thee Stallion campaign will run across television, social media and podcast spots throughout the NBA season, with "special" integrations planned for events such as the In-Season Tournament, All-Star Weekend and Playoffs according to Fanatics.
Stallion has gained notoriety in NBA circles recently after unveiling her new relationship with four-time champion Klay Thompson in July, who is currently a member of the Dallas Mavericks franchise but spent most of his career with the Golden State Warriors.
Fanatics will host its third annual Fanatics Fest event from the Javits Center in New York City from July 16-19, 2026, representing the first-time in which the sports and entertainment festival has expanded to four days
