Affinity Interactive has named Pat Murphy as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Prior to joining the company, Murphy was the VP of Finance and CFO at Hollywood Kansas Speedway Casino, part of Penn Entertainment’s portfolio.

He has also worked with MGM Resorts International as the VP of Finance and Treasurer, and with Caesars Entertainment Corporation as Director of Treasury.

Murphy will oversee financial matters at Affinity, as well as the integrated hospitality and consumer brands under Apex Hospitality, including Affinity, Xperience Restaurant Group (XRG), Pink Taco, and Mrs. Fields.

Affinity Interactive is a portfolio of ZCG Private Equity, a privately held global firm.

James J. Zenni, ZCG Founder, President and CEO, said: “Pat brings deep financial and operational expertise across gaming and hospitality, with a proven ability to drive performance and execute complex financial strategies.

“As we continue to scale Affinity and the Apex Hospitality platform, his leadership will be critical in strengthening our financial foundation, supporting growth initiatives, and driving long-term value across the platform.”

In this role, Murphy will work closely with management and leaders across several operational teams to support decision-making and encourage financial discipline.

He will be responsible for improvements in liquidity, cost control and capital efficiency while still driving the company to grow at a healthy pace.

Outside of the gambling industry, Murphy founded a real estate company in 2016, as well as assisted an international manufacturing company as VP of Finance and Treasurer in the early 2000s.

Meanwhile, Hard Rock Las Vegas has begun its search for executives ahead of the launch of its Las Vegas Strip resort.
