Sports betting powerhouse Betano has secured an Official Regional Sponsor deal with the Argentina national football team, weeks before the start of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The agreement links the Kaizen Gaming-owned brand with the Argentina national football team, which has won the FIFA World Cup three times. The timing of the deal comes as anticipation builds ahead of the 2026 tournament across the Americas.
As part of the partnership, Betano will roll out local 360-degree campaigns using its tagline “Confiá” (Spanish for “trust” or “have confidence”), a message that echoes fan-driven narratives seen during the 2022 World Cup, when the phrase “elijo creer” (“I choose to believe”) gained widespread traction.
The campaign will be seen across digital, television and out-of-home channels. The activations are aimed at increasing fan engagement and reinforcing the brand’s presence in one of the world’s most passionate football markets.

The deal aligns with Kaizen Gaming’s broader push to expand its international footprint through top-tier sports partnerships.
The operator has been growing its presence in Latin America, with community activations especially in Brazil, most recently in the TV show Big Brother.
With the World Cup set to be hosted across the United States, Canada and Mexico, the deal gives Betano a window to strengthen its position in Latin America during a period of peak regional engagement.
The Argentina national football team is a three-time World Cup winner, most recently lifting the trophy in 2022 in Qatar
