Realistic Games has confirmed it will cease operations, bringing to an end more than two decades in the online casino content sector.
In a statement addressed to partners, the company described the decision as difficult, reflecting on its origins in 2002 and its focus on translating the traditional casino floor experience into digital formats.
Over the years, the supplier developed a portfolio of games distributed across multiple regulated markets, supported by partnerships with operators and platforms worldwide.
“Thanks to our incredible teams, we turned that vision into a reality,” stated the company.
Headquartered in the UK, Realistic Games established itself as a supplier with international reach. Its content was made available to players across Europe and other jurisdictions through integrations with online casino operators, alongside participation in industry events to maintain its global footprint.
The company did not disclose specific reasons for the closure.
“We wish to thank each of you for your trust, collaboration, and support throughout this incredible journey. It has been a privilege to work alongside you, and we wish you all the very best for the future,” concluded the company in the statement.
The announcement comes at a time of continued regulatory scrutiny in the UK market. The UK Gambling Commission recently published updated data on illegal gambling website traffic, covering the period from July 2025 to February 2026.
According to the regulator, the data does not show consistent or sustained growth in consumer engagement with unlicensed sites over the past 21 months.
The UK Gambling Commission has also defended its proposed financial risk checks, stating they could be introduced with minimal disruption for high-spending customers
