Great Canadian Entertainment has officially sold its Casino Vancouver property in Coquitlam, British Columbia to Petroglyph Development Group (PDG), a wholly owned corporation of the Snuneymuxw First Nation Tribe.

The latest transaction represents the fourth to be agreed upon by both parties, and follows PDG’s recent acquisition of Great Canadian’s Chances Maple Ridge property on April 27.

“The completion of this acquisition reflects the sustained effort and vision of Snuneymuxw people across generations,” Snuneymuxw First Nation Chief Michael Wyse said.

“We are building an economy that is ours, one that funds our priorities, honours our responsibilities to neighbouring communities and creates opportunity for our people long into the future.”

The transaction was first announced on December 19, with Great Canadian Casino Vancouver joining Casino Nanaimo, Elements Casino Victoria and Chances Maple Ridge in PDG’s gaming portfolio.

PDG President Erralyn Joseph also spoke on the completed acquisition, having said, “Building the Snuneymuxw economic portfolio is grounded in a vision of sustainable, self-determined growth and in the belief that meaningful economic development is built on strong Nation-to-Nation relationships.

“Operating on Kwikwetlem territory is a responsibility we take seriously, and we look forward to building a partnership that reflects that.”

Great Canadian also sold two of its properties to Tribal entities in November 2025, as the Ts'elxwéyeqw Tribe and Tsleil-Waututh Nation took over operations of Elements Casino Chilliwack and Hastings Racecourse & Casino, respectively.

“This transaction is another milestone in our ongoing collaboration with (PDG) and the Snuneymuxw First Nation, and we’re grateful for another successful closing,” Great Canadian CEO Matt Anfinson said.

“With this representing our fourth completed transaction with PDG, it speaks to the trust and confidence we have built together. I’d like to thank everyone from our respective teams for their hard work, and I look forward to seeing the properties thrive under PDG’s leadership.”

Great Canadian Casino Vancouver currently offers over 920 slot machines to casino players, as well as nearly 80 electronic and live table games combined.
