The initiative marks Betano's first social responsibility program in Argentina

Betano has launched a social responsibility initiative in Argentina in partnership with FADeC, the Argentinian Federation of Sports for the Blind, to promote the growth of inclusive football nationwide.

The collaboration includes donations of equipment, infrastructure and scholarships to support emerging athletes, marking Betano's first social impact program in the country, benefitting more than 30 clubs and 900 athletes across Argentina.

The brand's contributions include 200 sound-emitting balls, new pitch barriers, two sideline tents, and a transport trailer to enhance training and competition logistics. Additionally, comprehensive medical coverage will be provided to 24 members of Argentina's national blind football teams, Los Murciélagos and Las Murciélagas (The Bats).

Álvaro Ferreres, Kaizen Gaming Country Manager for Argentina, said: "We support and back initiatives that have a positive impact on the community, because commitment is part of who we are.

"We are proud and excited about this partnership with Fadec, which seeks to transform lives through adapted sports by offering new opportunities in terms of infrastructure and, in this case, in the development of the Las Murciélagas and Los Murciélagos teams. We believe that sport has the power to unite, inspire and change realities. For this reason, we will continue working on projects that promote this message."

As part of the program, 10 FADeC athletes will receive one-year development scholarships to improve their performance and access to professional training. These scholarships aim to strengthen Argentina's representation in both national and international tournaments.

David Peralta, President of the Federation, said: "We celebrate building these partnerships that allow us to support and empower people with disabilities who embrace adapted sports. Los Murciélagos are a source of pride for us and for all of Argentina. We work so that, through their example of commitment, professionalism, and passion, more blind and visually impaired people fall in love with sports, which is a powerful tool for inclusion."
