Superbet has become the very first betting operator to make its application available on Brazil’s Apple App Store following the platform’s recent policy update for fixed-odds betting apps.
The operator confirmed that its iOS application went live, allowing users in Brazil to download the platform directly through Apple’s official marketplace.
The launch follows new App Store rules introduced by Apple requiring operators offering betting functionality to provide a valid license issued by Brazil’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA).
Under the updated policy, developers must submit license information and supporting documentation through App Store Connect as part of the review process.
Apple also stated that gambling-related apps in Brazil automatically receive an 18+ age classification when developers confirm betting functionality during submission.
According to Superbet, the platform complies with both Apple’s digital distribution standards and Brazil’s betting regulations. The company was one of the first operators authorized to operate under the country’s regulated framework.
The move comes as competition for visibility continues to intensify across Brazil’s regulated market. According to a recent study, the betting sector generated BR327.2m ($66m) in advertising investment during the first quarter of 2026, with Superbet ranking as the second-largest advertiser in the segment with BR40.5m invested.
Before Apple’s updated licensing framework came into effect, Betsul had launched a mobile betting app version through the Vibra Solutions app.
However, Superbet’s launch marks the first fully operator app approved under the new regulatory requirements introduced for Brazil’s fixed-odds betting market, reflecting the sector’s transition towards a more structured and tightly supervised digital environment.
