Korea Sports Leisure, operator of the Sports Toto sports-promotion lottery, has completed the first 2026 session of its “Sports Dream Day” social contribution program, aimed at providing sports experiences to multicultural families in Korea.

As reported by Chosun Biz, the event was held on May 10 at the Hera Badminton Gymnasium in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, followed by activities at Tancheon Sports Complex, home stadium of Seongnam FC. The initiative is part of Korea Sports Leisure’s broader effort to promote the public-interest value of the sports-promotion lottery business.

A total of 15 multicultural family teams, representing around 50 participants, took part in the program alongside company employees and retail partners. Many of the families had no prior experience attending a professional sports event.

The day began with recreational programs at the badminton gymnasium, including a mini sports meet and an interactive quiz focused on preventing illegal sports gambling. Organizers said the educational component was designed to raise awareness of responsible sports participation and discourage unlawful betting activities.

Participants then attended a Seongnam FC home match against Jeonnam Dragons, where they joined a stadium tour and took part in escort kids activities before watching the match in person. Korea Sports Leisure also provided sports kits to encourage continued physical activity at home.

Company officials said the program was designed to strengthen family bonds during Korea’s Family Month and to create inclusive opportunities for culturally marginalized groups.

Two additional Sports Dream Day events are scheduled later this year, with plans to expand the program to more regional areas in the second half of 2026.
