Korea Sports Leisure, the trustee operator of Sports Toto, has launched the fourth round of its 2026 “Toto Refresh” program aimed at preventing and easing excessive gambling behavior, as reported by Chosun Biz.

The initiative, conducted in partnership with the Korea Problem Gambling Agency, is designed to protect users of Sports Toto, South Korea’s official sports promotion lottery issued by the Seoul Olympic Memorial National Sports Promotion Agency. The company has been recruiting participants on a monthly basis since February and provides customized education depending on each user’s level of engagement.

Participants are assessed using the Toto Gambling Self-diagnosis Index, which measures involvement levels. Users scoring below 50 are placed in the “green program,” those scoring between 50 and 89 enter the “yellow program,” and those scoring 90 or above are assigned to the “red program,” which targets higher-risk users.

Educational requirements vary by category. Green participants complete online prevention training and a follow-up survey. Yellow and red participants must undertake a structured self-practice course and submit a learning diary. Those in the red group are also given priority opportunities to join the upcoming “Toto Healing Day” program, which focuses on recovery and responsible play.

Registration is available through the WithToto official website from May 4 to May 20. During this period, participants must complete the engagement assessment, required training and follow-up survey.

A company official said the program enables users to review their purchasing behavior and receive tailored support, adding that Korea Sports Leisure will continue implementing user protection initiatives to promote a healthier betting culture.

Participants who complete the program receive a KRW 30,000 (US$20.71) CU gift certificate
