BetMGM has formed a new partnership with Tailgate Beach Club at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, providing the operator with an on-site activation team and digital signage featuring live odds displays.
Tailgate Beach Club will host a grand opening celebration on May 16, featuring a live performance from acclaimed rapper Snoop Dogg. The venue offers heated pools, live DJs and 125 ft of LED screens for an enhanced sports viewing experience.
“Tailgate Beach Club’s mission of blending the energy of Las Vegas dayclubs and sports into a signature venue goes straight to the heart of BetMGM’s DNA – creating legendary moments players can’t get anywhere else,” BetMGM CRO Matt Prevost said.
“This opportunity allows us to deliver incredible memories for fans, introduce our product to new audiences and reinforce our Las Vegas roots.”
BetMGM also unveiled plans to host watch parties for major sporting events at Tailgate Beach Club, looking to build upon its Las Vegas Strip presence which currently includes nine retail sportsbook facilities.
Andy Masi, Founder of Clique Hospitality Group which developed Tailgate Beach Club, also spoke on the new partnership, having said, “Tailgate Beach Club was built to bring that game day energy into a setting you can only find in Las Vegas.
“Partnering with BetMGM takes that experience to another level, giving fans more ways to engage with the action while enjoying the atmosphere, service and entertainment we’re creating at Tailgate.”
In iGaming news, Blueprint Gaming signed a multi-month exclusivity agreement with BetMGM to launch its Game of Thrones slot title in Ontario on April 27, reflecting a “targeted approach to market entry” prior to wider North American expansion.
The Game of Thrones slot title was originally developed by Blueprint Gaming in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, featuring the supplier’s money collect mechanic and branded modifiers to enhance prize collection.
