Inspired Entertainment has promoted former VP of Finance and Accounting Craig Wilson to CFO & EVP, following James Richardson’s decision to step down from the role he’s held since January 2025.
“Craig’s promotion to the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer reflects the Board’s confidence in his ability to lead the finance function at this stage of the company’s development,” Inspired President and CEO Brooks Pierce said.
“On behalf of the Board and the executive team, I would like to thank James for his contribution to the company and wish him well in all his future endeavors.”
While Wilson’s appointment went into effect on May 14, Richardson will remain with the supplier for a three-month period to assist in his transition to CFO. According to Inspired, Wilson has played a “central leadership role” in finance and accounting operations since he joined the supplier in 2025.
The new CFO spent six years with Charles River Laboratories International, most recently as Director of Accounting and Global Consolidations, and was said to provide experience in financial reporting, forecasting and planning.
In related personnel news, Peter Davies also chose to step down from his role as Inspired Managing Director on May 7, announcing he intends to join Dransfields under the same position.
