BetMGM has renewed its title sponsorship of Premier League Darts, extending a partnership that began in 2024 and keeping the sports betting brand attached to one of the Professional Darts Corporation’s main annual competitions.
The agreement was announced as the 2026 Premier League Darts season reached Finals Night at The O2 in London.
The campaign began in Newcastle in February and ran across 16 league-stage nights before the top four players advanced to the play-offs.
Premier League Darts was launched in 2005 and has developed into a weekly touring event across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe. The 2026 edition included eight players and a £1.25m ($1.6m) prize fund, with £350,000 allocated to the winner.
BetMGM replaced Cazoo as title sponsor in 2024. The annual value of the sponsorship for 2026 has been reported at $1.15m.
The renewal comes during a period of increased commercial attention around darts, driven by higher broadcast audiences, sold-out venues and the continued profile of players including Luke Littler and Luke Humphries.
Sky Sports extended its PDC broadcast agreement to 2030 in 2025, following record viewing figures for the World Darts Championship.
For BetMGM, the deal maintains a visible UK sports property as MGM Resorts International continues to develop the brand outside North America through LeoVegas Group. BetMGM launched in the UK in 2023 using LeoVegas technology, while the BetMGM joint venture between MGM Resorts and Entain continues to operate in the US and Canada.
PDC CEO, Matt Porter, said: “Their continued commitment reflects both the strength of the tournament and the growth of darts on a global stage.”
BetMGM Brand Director, Dan Towse, added: “The quality of players and level of engagement around it make it a perfect fit for BetMGM.”
The sponsorship also sits alongside BetMGM’s wider use of live sports and entertainment activations. Earlier this month, BetMGM and Tailgate Beach Club announced a partnership ahead of the venue’s May 16 opening at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, adding live odds displays and an on-site activation team.
Premier League Darts’ previous title sponsor was Cazoo, before BetMGM took over the naming rights in 2024
