LeoVegas Group has announced that former Swedish ice hockey player Peter “Foppa” Forsberg has been appointed as the new official ambassador for BetMGM in the Swedish market.
Centre-forward Peter Forsberg had a highly successful career, spending 13 seasons in the NHL. He is also a member of the Triple Gold Club, which recognises players who have won the Stanley Cup, a World Championship and an Olympic gold medal.
Forsberg will appear in BetMGM marketing campaigns across the country and will also share betting tips through a new content series called “Foppa Boosts.”
Commenting on the news, Peter Forsberg said: “After spending many years in the US, I’ve become very familiar with BetMGM, and It’s going to be great fun to be an ambassador for a true Vegas brand like BetMGM!
“I've been interested in sports all my life, and can honestly say I've seen most things in sports from both an inside and outside perspective. With all this experience, I look forward to regularly sharing my best tips with Swedish sports fans".

Recently, LeoVegas announced the launch of its Expekt brand in Sweden ahead of the World Cup, with the operator’s proprietary Tiger sportsbook platform powering the offering.
The move follows the rollout of the Tiger sportsbook across LeoVegas Group brands BetMGM and GoGoCasino in Sweden over the past few weeks.
