Stake is launching animated, virtual hosts on its online casino platform through Animo Studios.
The technology uses a combination of advanced motion capture, live broadcasting, machine learning, and proprietary software and hardware to turn croupiers into VTuber-style hosts.
In keeping with the VTuber theme, these animated hosts will also have unique names, storylines and personalities.
These hosts will be able to interact with objects in their environment, meaning they can spin wheels and run the games as a standard croupier would be able to.
Amino is also planning on offering 'celebrities and influencers' the chance to insert IP-based characters into these game shows.
While VTubers began life as individual creators, companies have integrated VTuber hosts in marketing or other campaigns for many years already.
