FanDuel has launched a new television advertisement campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, starring former US men’s national team player Landon Donovan and set to be unveiled across the US and in host cities for the tournament.
The campaign, titled Let There Be Goals, was developed in partnership with Arts & Letters Creative and looks to put goal scoring “at the center of the fan experience, bringing audiences closer to the action.”
The first TV commercial spot – Norway – aired on June 8 and will continue to roll out across film, social, streaming, digital and out-of-home placements. The advertisement depicts a fan becoming more integrated with Norwegian culture after betting on their over goals scored.
The new campaign follows FanDuel TV’s efforts to bring together former US men's national team coaches Gregg Berhalter, Bruce Arena and Bob Bradley for a World Cup analysis series which will air throughout the tournament.
The 10-episode series, titled Coaches Corner, premiered June 1 on FanDuel TV and will run through July 20 with match previews, tactical analysis and post-game recaps during the global competition.
According to FanDuel, episodes will focus on the US team's tournament run, including group stage matches against Paraguay, Australia and Turkey, as well as the knockout rounds and final.
FanDuel also named well-known sports broadcaster Erin Andrews as the operator’s latest Responsible Gaming Ambassador on April 30, joining fellow Ambassadors such as Craig Carton, Randy Livingston and Anita Ondine Smith.
As a Responsible Gaming Ambassador, Andrews will be tasked with creating responsible gaming content for FanDuel’s social platforms, participating in key campaigns and supporting broader education and awareness efforts.
FanDuel expanded upon its agreement with ITV Studios and the Love Island television franchise to release a new online slot game – Love Island: Unlocked – in multiple US states on June 1
