“The Michigan Gaming Control Board remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring compliance with all state gambling regulations,” MGCB Executive Director Henry Williams said.

“We will continue to work diligently to identify and eliminate any illegal gambling activities that pose a threat to the integrity of the industry and the welfare of the public.”

In partnership with the Department of Attorney General and Madison Township Police Department, the regulator confiscated 42 slot-style and 10 computer-based gambling machines from the facility.

Games 4 U was said to offer a “variety” of interactive gaming experiences, including arcade-style machines and virtual reality setups.

The MGCB stated it will respect the rights of all parties involved and “allow the judicial process and the principles of due process to proceed without prejudging the outcome of any legal proceedings.”

MotorCity Casino and Hollywood Casino at Greektown reported slot machine and table game revenues of $35.6m and $25m, respectively, equating to an increase of 4.8% for the former and a decrease of 2.6%.

The three commercial gaming properties paid $9.2m in state gaming taxes for May 2026, as well as submitted $13.5m in wagering taxes and development agreement payments to the City of Detroit.
