Plaza Hotel & Casino has unveiled plans for a multi-day 4th of July celebration, including a record-breaking $250,000 Super Bingo event and $5,000 spark & spin slot tournament for casino players.

Beginning on July 3, the Downtown Las Vegas property will host a rooftop pool party, wing-eating contest, beer pong tournament and a fireworks show to commemorate the US’ 250th anniversary.

The $250,000 prize purse represents the highest ever offered by Plaza Hotel & Casino, with registration set as $250 per person and scheduled to take place from July 4-5.

Plaza Hotel & Casino confirmed the $5,000 spark & spin slot tournament will take place on each Friday of July, while the property is also set to offer an all-inclusive stay package throughout the summer.

On April 16, the Plaza Hotel & Casino announced plans to launch a new high limit gaming room in the summer of 2026 to help account for the property’s “growing slot business” according to CEO Jonathan Jossel.

“The Plaza continues to diversify its offerings to meet the changing needs of our guests,” Jossel said.

“Adding a High Limit Gaming Room is just another amenity we want to provide so our guests know they have a variety of gaming options at the Plaza, including an exclusive, comfortable and personalized area for slot play.”

Jossel also confirmed The Plaza Hotel & Casino had received requests from “new higher-end players and longstanding customers” to construct an exclusive slot play area.

The high limit gaming room will be located on the property’s casino floor and feature approximately 60 slots and electronic table games. To maintain a sense of intimacy and personalization, The Plaza Hotel & Casino plans to cap the size of the exclusive slots area to 2,000 sq ft.

The property will host a grand opening ceremony for the new high limit gaming room this summer, as well as keep the space open 24 hours a day and seven days per week for casino players.
