Boyle Sports has reached agreement on a “landmark” multi-year partnership with the Northern Ireland Football League (NIFL), set to include the launch of a new responsible gambling awareness initiative across NIFL clubs throughout the season.
“This partnership represents a significant investment in football across Northern Ireland and reinforces our commitment to supporting the clubs, players, supporters and communities that continue to drive the game forward,” Boyle Sports said.
“The Northern Ireland Football League continues to go from strength to strength, and we’re excited to play our part in supporting the next chapter of its growth. We look forward to working closely with the NIFL, its clubs and stakeholders over the next three seasons.”
As a result of the new collaboration, Boyle Sports will serve as the Title Partner of the Premiership, Championship and Women’s Premiership, helping to also build support for the Boyle Sports Women’s League Cup.
The partnership will also hope to create new fan engagement opportunities across matchdays, broadcasts and digital content, while the responsible gambling initiative was developed to “promote safer betting conversations and provide practical information to supporters.”
Just prior to announcing its new multi-year partnership with the NIFL, Boyle Sports opened its 400th retail location at Ballybrit as part of its new three-year partnership with Galway Races on 22 June.
The operator will also hold a title sponsorship for the Saturday event during the Galway Races festival, which is now the €110,000 ($126,027.00) Boyle Sports Handicap Hurdle.
The deal solidifies Boyle Sports’ footprint in the Irish racing scene and builds upon its current title sponsorship of the Irish Grand National.
Boyle Sports joined the International Betting Integrity Association on 11 June, adding its retail and online sportsbook operations to the association’s global monitoring network
