Inspired Entertainment has reported its financial results for Q3 2026, with revenue having been impacted by both an increase in machines game duty as part of the UK’s 2027 budget and Brazil’s shutdown of online gaming in September.
The supplier reported a Q3 revenue of $61.4m, representing a fall of 29% year-over-year. Despite the results, Inspired managed to lower its net loss to just $0.1m after witnessing a $1.9m loss for Q3 2025.
Inspired President and CEO Brooks Pierce expressed optimism regarding the UK Budget, however, believing the 5% increase in machine games duty to be “disappointing but reasonable.”
“The UK Budget removes a major overhang and gives us and our customers a clearer foundation for investment and planning. The increase in machine games duty from 20% to 25%, effective April 2027, is disappointing but manageable and we will pursue disciplined mitigation measures to limit the effect on our business,” Pierce said.

How has the supplier's net income/loss performed since the beginning of 2025?
Pierce confirmed Brazil’s shutdown impacts a business equating to 5% of the supplier’s total revenue. Inspired also adjusted its full-year 2026 guidance to reflect the Brazil iGaming ban, now estimating an adjusted EBITDA between $109-$112m – lowered from $112-$118m.
The Inspired President & CEO spoke on plans to counteract losses in Brazil, having said, “While opportunities to offset the lost contribution are limited in the near term, we continue to evaluate options as the regulatory situation evolves.”
Turning attention back to Q3 results, Inspired’s retail solutions revenue decreased 39% to $37.4m, while virtual sports revenue totaled $8.5m and fell 9%.
Interactive revenue managed to increase 3% to $15.5m, though, helping to boost operating income 6% to $10.3m during the quarterly period.
