Sports data supplier TxOdds has announced the launch of its new data distribution layer, TxLine, with the company having partnered with Solana to introduce the new product.
Now, in partnership with Solana, the organisation has announced a World Cup-themed hackathon – a collaborative coding, hacking or problem-solving event – complete with a $50,000 prize pool. Participants are set to receive access to live match feeds across all World Cup games, with registration open to all potential participants now, with the submission window closing on the 19 July 2026.
Indeed, this activation is designed to showcase TxLine’s ability to create tamper-evident audit trail for back testing, compliance and automated smart contract verification – as it will track and timestamp every data packet on the Solana blockchain as part of the Hackathon event.
Speaking on the activation, TxOdds CEO Ainar Knobel said: "Partnering with Solana and Superteam puts our data directly into the hands of builders who are pushing the sports betting industry toward real transparency. This World Cup hackathon is where we prove what's possible when you break down traditional gatekeepers and give access to talented, motivated builders."
This latest update from the supplier comes soon after its exclusive involvement with Global Gaming Insider’s Evolution of Sports Betting documentary – featuring industry leaders, traders and technology experts going behind the scenes of one of the biggest shifts in sports entertainment history.
More broadly, the arrival of the World Cup has sparked a tidal wave of gambling industry innovations and activations in recent days and weeks – with global regulatory bodies also reiterating caution around betting for players during this period of inflated engagement.
Hackathons can be a hotbed for innovation, with Facebook’s iconic ‘like’ button was first incepted as a prototype during an internal company hackathon
