Global Gaming Women (GGW) has appointed International Game Technology (IGT) executive Adrienne Prather-Marcos to the non-profit’s Board of Directors, where she will help shape the organization’s strategic vision and assist in leading new sponsorship efforts.
Under her new role with GGW, Prather-Marcos will also look to “cultivate strong industry partnerships and champion initiatives that expand access, elevate visibility and create meaningful opportunities for women at every stage of their careers.”
Prather-Marcos currently serves as IGT Chief of Staff to CEO and VP of Employee Communications, and originally joined the gaming supplier in October 2025 as Senior Director of Global Employee Communications & Change Management.
The new GGW Board of Directors member has also served as VP of Internal Communications for Caesars Entertainment and Director of Public Relations for MGM Resorts International.
As part of a social media post unveiling the new appointment, GGW stated: “Adrienne’s leadership, expertise and dedication to advancing women in gaming will be invaluable as we continue driving meaningful impact across the industry.
“Congratulations, Adrienne! We are thrilled to have you on the GGW Board of Directors.”
GGW also began launching a series of initiatives throughout 2026 to mark its 10th anniversary, highlighting the organization’s impact on professional development and leadership opportunities for women in the gaming industry.
As part of its anniversary celebrations, GGW introduced a range of commemorative activities, including a new content series titled “Milestones that Moved Us,” which will feature video interviews highlighting key moments and contributors from the non-profit’s history.
GGW also unveiled a commemorative anniversary logo and launched a range of branded merchandise to mark the milestone year.
GGW appointed Siobhan Lane as the non-profit's new President and Board Chair in December 2025, succeeding former President Lauren Bates whose term officially came to an end on December 31
