IGT has appointed Heidi Franco as Director of People Analytics and Workforce Strategy, strengthening its focus on workforce analytics as the gaming supplier continues integrating its operations following its combination with Everi.
Franco announced the appointment in a LinkedIn post, describing the position as an opportunity to connect workforce strategy with business performance through data-driven decision-making.
Her responsibilities will span hiring, retention, performance and compensation, with an emphasis on using predictive analytics to support planning across the business.
The appointment comes during a significant period of transformation for IGT. Earlier this year, Apollo Funds completed the acquisition of International Game Technology's Gaming & Digital business alongside Everi Holdings, combining the two businesses under the IGT brand.
The combined supplier now operates across land-based gaming, iGaming, sports betting, fintech, casino systems and player engagement technology.
As gaming suppliers expand across multiple regulated markets and product segments, workforce analytics has become increasingly important in supporting operational planning, talent management and organizational integration.
Companies have also placed greater emphasis on aligning HR functions with finance and business strategy as they manage technical recruitment, regulatory compliance and long-term growth.
IGT Director of People Analytics and Workforce Strategy, Heidi Franco, said: "This opportunity represents a meaningful step in my career and a chance to lead work I'm deeply passionate about, connecting workforce strategy to real business outcomes through data, analytics and thoughtful decision-making."
She added: "I'm excited about the opportunity to help build and scale a capability that brings together People & Culture, Finance and the broader business, ensuring that workforce decisions are grounded in both data and impact."
Franco's professional background includes workforce planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and people analytics, experience that aligns with the growing use of workforce data to support strategic decision-making across large multinational organizations.
The appointment follows another leadership-related announcement at IGT earlier this week, when Chief of Staff to the CEO and VP of Employee Communications Adrienne Prather-Marcos joined the Global Gaming Women Board of Directors to help support the organization's strategic direction and sponsorship initiatives.
People analytics combines HR and business data to forecast workforce needs, helping organizations make more informed decisions on recruitment, retention and long-term planning
