Maryland Lottery and Gaming has reported the state’s total casino activity for June 2026, as the six commercial operators currently active in Maryland combined to generate $156.8m of revenue, equating to a decrease of 2.4%.
MGM National Harbor accounted for the most revenue of any property in Maryland with nearly $66.6m during June, but reported a decrease of 0.9% year-over-year. Live! Casino & Hotel was a close second with $56.2m of revenue, representing a decrease of 4.7%.

How have the state's commercial operators performed since 2021?
Horseshoe Casino and Hollywood Casino reported June 2026 revenues of $14.2m and $6.8m, respectively, equating to decreases of 0.4% and 5.8%. Rocky Gap Casino generated $4.3m of revenue during the monthly period, but fell 6.8%.
Ocean Downs Casino was the only commercial operator in Maryland to report an increase in revenue for June 2026, having risen 4.3% from the prior year period to just over $8.8m.
Casino gaming contributions to the state decreased 0.9% during June to just over $67.9m, including $48.9m having been sent to the Education Trust Fund which equates to a fall of 1%.

In addition to the Education Trust Fund, casino gaming revenues support the communities and jurisdictions where the casinos are located, Maryland’s horse racing industry and small, minority- and women-owned businesses.
On June 10, Maryland Lottery and Gaming reported the state’s total sports betting activity for May, as revenue from online and retail operations totaled just over $49.6m and decreased by 3.9%.
The fall in sports betting revenue for Maryland was reported in spite of a 6.1% increase year-over-year in total handle to $535.4m, resulting in a hold of 12.3% for operators currently licensed in the state.
