Mohegan Sun will celebrate its 30th anniversary during October 2026 with a lineup of live musical entertainment, with “many more events and promotions” set to be announced according to President & GM Jeff Hamilton.
"Over the past three decades, Mohegan Sun has grown into one of the most successful and highest-grossing Tribal gaming destinations in the country, continually evolving to deliver exceptional entertainment and guest experiences that have earned its place among the world's leading integrated resorts,” Hamilton said.
"Many more events and promotions will be announced this summer for this massive milestone, though to have such iconic performers like Alanis Morissette, Foo Fighters, Lainey Wilson, John Mayer and more to help us celebrate is more than an honor."
From October 2-4 and 9-11, artists such as Alanis Morissette, the Foo Fighters, John Mayer, Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe and Nelly will all take the stage at Mohegan Sun Arena to celebrate the Connecticut property’s 30th anniversary.
On the gaming side of operations, Mohegan Sun currently features two casino floors – Casino of the Earth and Casino of the Sky – which combine to offer nearly 4,000 slot machines and more than 300 table games.
International Game Technology (IGT) and Mohegan Sun also recently partnered to host a grand opening ceremony for the supplier’s Wheel of Fortune Cash on Reels slot game on June 3.
The launch event brought together Momentum loyalty rewards members for 200 complimentary spins, as well as the chance to win prizes and interact with well-known slot influencers.
As part of its own 25th anniversary celebration, Mohegan Sun Arena will host well-known heavy metal band Metallica on November 19 and 21.
Mohegan appointed Scott Schuman as its new VP of Corporate Finance on April 27, where he began leading key functions such as financial planning & analysis, investor relations and strategic planning
