BetMGM has this week replaced its branding on the front of Tottenham Hotspur's training wear with a safer gambling message.
The nationwide 'Safer Gambling Week' initiative is ongoing in the UK and Ireland from 17 - 23 November, and this will be second time BetMGM and Tottenham have teamed up to support the campaign since the pair began their partnership in July 2024.
As Tottenham prepares for the weekend's match against Arsenal, playing and coaching staff will all wear kit bearing the message 'SGWeek25' in place of the usual BetMGM logo.
Dan Towse, Brand Director at MGM, said: "Safer Gambling Week is an important time of the year to showcase the importance of this initiative and so replacing our logo on the club's training kit was crucial to us at BetMGM. We thank Tottenham for their support around the week and for helping us communicate our commitment to responsible gaming."
The club has also thrown its weight behind the initiative with Ryan Norys, Chief Revenue Officer at Tottenham, explaining that the club hopes its support will help in: "providing an extremely important awareness campaign with the biggest possible platform, sparking vital conversations around safer gambling and ensuring fans know that advice and support is there if they need it."
The campaign itself spun out of Responsible Gambling Week, which was first run in 2017 with the hopes of uniting the various sectors of the industry.
It has grown each year in size and awareness since then, and this year coincides with European Safer Gambling Week, run by the European Gaming Betting Association.
Tottenham's opponent this weekend is Arsenal - the match is traditionally framed as the 'North London Derby,' despite Arsenal originally hailing from Woolwich in South London
