Jeju Dream Tower has reported record second-quarter revenue of KRW192.6bn ($123.4m), as casino volumes and hotel occupancy continued to strengthen at Lotte Tourism Development’s integrated resort in Jeju.

The total covers the resort’s two core operating divisions, with casino revenue reported on a net basis and hotel revenue reported separately. June revenue from the two segments reached KRW64bn, up 29.4% year-on-year, marking a third consecutive month above KRW60bn.

Casino operations remained the main driver. Net casino revenue for Q2 reached KRW147.09bn, up 33.7% and above the previous quarterly high of KRW142.72bn set in Q4 2025.

Gaming demand also rose by volume. The resort recorded 182,872 casino users during the quarter, an increase of 23.2%. Table drop reached KRW637.5bn, up 11.1% from Q1.

The quarter was supported by a higher hold rate, which rose to 22.1% from 17.4% a year earlier. Lotte Tourism Development said the improvement reflected more open tables, stronger visitor numbers and growth in long-stay customers.

The comparison places Jeju Dream Tower closer to Macau’s Cotai resorts, where the average hold rate across nine large-scale properties was cited at 25.1% in Q1 2026.

Hotel performance also strengthened as Jeju continued to benefit from inbound tourism.

Grand Hyatt Jeju generated KRW45.48bn in Q2 hotel revenue, up 10.7% year-on-year and 19.3% quarter-on-quarter. The hotel sold 128,600 rooms, with average occupancy of 88.3%.

Foreign guests accounted for 77.3% of rooms sold during the quarter. In June, the hotel sold 43,218 rooms and occupancy reached 90%, while casino patrons used an average of 833 rooms per day.

The update comes before Lotte Tourism Development reports full Q2 earnings, meaning adjusted EBITDA and net income for the period have not yet been disclosed. The company has said it expects first-half and full-year performance to reach new highs as cruise activity in its travel division is also reflected.

Jeju Dream Tower’s Q2 performance follows earlier growth in March, when its foreigners-only casino posted KRW40.4bn in revenue and first-quarter casino revenue rose 40.3% year-on-year to KRW118.6bn.
